Pour the Talk. Start the Conversation
This Months Talk Statement
“Women and society would be better off if women practiced claiming more and giving less.”

Do You Agree or Disagree and Why?
Start the Conversation
Agreement Perspective
Women are often socialized to give time, emotional support, and effort , sometimes at the expense of recognition, authority, and opportunity. Practicing claiming may rebalance influence, visibility, and decision-making power.
Disagreement Perspective
The issue may not be that women give too much, but that society undervalues what women contribute.
Reducing generosity could weaken empathy, collaboration, and social cohesion within communities.
A Further Consideration
What if the real opportunity is not giving less, but claiming more without apology?
Could generosity and authority exist together?
